ZL

Z, ZL and other mutation Guard Vans were extremely common on Victorian Railways from late 1800s to the 1970s. They were mostly as six wheel vans with four wheel versions towards the end of their era.

These are an absolute must for anything in the VR era.

These kits are not particularly difficult to put together. A little bit fiddly putting the tiny numbers on. The four wheel variety involve some fairly simple alteration to the standard PECO underframe, while making a six wheel version involves more surgery using one and a half underframes.
