AZ First class passenger cars were introduced in late 1950s. During the mid 1980s (after the Blue and Gold VR era), guards compartments were added resulting in recoding to ACZ. Used on broad gauge and standard gauge lines.

One of my first models. The kit from Aust-N-Rail is a one piece moulded body and a second piece for the base. The windows are meant to be painted but I opted to cut them out and fill with Krystal Clear - not the most elegant solution but I liked the idea being able to see light through the wagon.
